Kitty is happy that his food and water dishes are back in their proper place!!

   

This was a really big job, and on a budget too. Talk about girl power -- zippy did almost all of the work herself. I think the only things she had someone else do are the floor and countertop. She designed and built extra storage along the bank of cupboards above the stove. She also designed and built the counter beside the gray pantry. Oh, and she painted the pantry gray. I helped her bring it into the house -- it weighs a TON!!!!

I can't remember what colour the cupboards and walls are The floor is bamboo. The countertops are a stainless steel-look laminate.

Definately freshened up - well done Zippy.

Not sure what Zippy's budget is but a couple suggestions - have you thought about a white subway tile for the backsplash? Has Zippy also thought about putting cupboards where the pantry and shelf are? Yes, I know it's just been painted!
One last thing Zippy - boob light?!... can we try and find an alternative?

Oh, new lighting is on the agenda!! Do you think track lights or pot lights or a combo of the two would be best??
