Wide Posts
Hi Doctor Q,
Have you changed the format of the forum so that posts are wider? If so, I hate to complain... it's not fun having to scroll over to read stuff that off the screen. If you didn't change it, is it something that can be fixed? Edin Design - Home remodeling is fun! |

RE: Wide Posts
I wonder if it is your computer. I don't seem to have that problem.

RE: Wide Posts
I am on a mac.
Anyway, I have no problem but then again if you are having a problem on two different computers and only in a few posts, then that is mystery. "Less is more" |

RE: Wide Posts
Nope... no browser changes.
Yep... a mystery! And adding to the mystery? In Smoodgie's wallpaper post, some pages are normal, some are wide... it's not the whole thread. Edin Design - Home remodeling is fun! |

RE: Wide Posts
I tried on my Mac and PC and can't see the issue.
Can you answer these questions for me: What browser are you using (EG: Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 2, etc)? What's one thread and exact page where you can see the problem? Are there images posted directly in the posts or just as thumbnails? Also, can you take a screenshot of the page? If you're on Windows all you have to do is press the Print Screen key, open Microsoft Paint and paste into the window. Then save as a jpeg and upload it for me. The best way to get ahead is to get started. |

RE: Wide Posts
Hi Doctor Q
To answer your questions: Q.1) What browser are you using (EG: Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 2, etc)? A) Internet Explorer - newest version. This is the case on both my work and home computer Q.2) What's one thread and exact page where you can see the problem? A) I've got 5 examples for you - in each of these threads, only 1 page was wide. #1 = TT's Dining Room - pg. 3 of 4 #2 = Now Living Room is really done - pg. 1 of 2 #3 = Another Living Room to Redecorate - pg. 1 of 4 #4 = Looking for Wallpaper - pg. 4 of 5 #5 = Awning Advice - pg. 1 of 2 You'll see in each of these examples that the page is wider in some then in others... the widest being Smoodgie's Wallpaper thread. Q.3) Are there images posted directly in the posts or just as thumbnails? A) It seems to me that the images are thumbnails - but I think they're thumbnails added to the message as apposed to those added to the bottom of the post (like the ones I have below). Does that make sense? Hope you can help... or maybe it really is a mystery!! Edin Design - Home remodeling is fun! |
