Where should chandelier hang??
Hubby has started working on installing the chandelier in the living room
 b: I need to figure out how high it should hang. Anyone know??Dimensions are: Room is 16' x 11' Ceiling is 9' Chandelier is 25" diameter and 16.5" high It'll hang directly above the coffee table, so no worries about people bumping their heads on it. People that think they know everything seriously annoy those of us that actually do. |

Did you come up with a plan? We guessed for the kitchen, it's 18" from the ceilling.

I've seen a couple of web sites that say the bottom should be 7 feet above the floor. So I'll get hubby to hold it there, and then adjust it accordingly. I think I'll have to actually see it to know what height looks best.
People that think they know everything seriously annoy those of us that actually do. |

i think 7 feet would be about right and i agree that you have to see it to really know if its the right height.
