TT's Bedroom Progress Thread

DH and I placed the headboard against the wall this morning... there's not going to be a lot of space once that darned bed is in place!!
I blame DH... he wanted the king-sized bed!!

We'll move the bed, side tables and curtains in this afternoon... I'll post photos to show you what I mean. We knew the room would be small... but I was hoping the bed would look okay. Perhaps it will... I'll know later today.

Don't forget...focus on 'bed' room!!! Right??? To me the most important parts of the room are a great comfortable bed, good pillows and a comfy rug for walking.

I'm getting ready to retire this thread
Reno energies are being shifted and I don't believe I'll be back into this room to decorate for a little while.

The best way to complete the "TT's Bedroom Progress Thread" is with photos of the room furnished!









I'm going to purchase a wood blind like Sweetie's for this window, too. Usually the curtains will be closed. I'm also placing a narrow cabinet against the wall opposite the foot of the bed for the TV to sit on.

When I was taking these pics the kitties were having a lot of fun playing tag across and under the bed and in behind the curtains!! They love this room!

I'll start another thread when it comes time to hang art and make my duvet

Absolutely beautiful You and hubby have done a spectacular job -- I especially like the windows, the chandelier, and the wardrobes. The mirror in the middle of them is a nice detail

I don't think your bed looks too big in the space.
