From our flower garden.....

I can't remember what kind of flowers these are. But they're purple, so they're good

           

I love impatiens.... so easy to grow, and so pretty

Purple, what a coincidence! Q will love those first ones!

We use impatiens to trim the gardens too! We're not as colorful as you, we use all white

The first ones look almost blue! i have a sentimental fondness for iris'...........

You could print those photos and frame them, they are THAT good!

You're right -- the first one IS more of a light blue than a mauve.

Oh, and I FINALLY have a flower on my clematis!!! I've managed to kill two or three, but this one has survived so far. I'll take a picture if it stops raining....

Here's the clematis -- it has more blooms since I last looked But it's still dinky compared to sweetie's!!

And this is my orchid with the baby orchid -- the mother and the baby both have blooms!!

More purple flowers Well, technically I think they're called black, but they look purple to me!!

Nice flower pics! Reminds me that I have to completely overhaul my garden. I bought one of the containers of wild flower seeds from Costco & now my garden looks like an overgrown weed festival. I'm sure when I rip them out I'm going to find a few little creatures that wandered in & couldn't find their way out & perhaps some homeless people looking for shelter & maybe a few cats.

Then I made the mistake of planting a few marigolds & don't I find out that slugs (EWWWW) love them & they munched them up completely.

On another note, I STILL don't have any blooms on my clematis, but they look healthy other than that.
