Thanks for posting those......Do you think they're comfortable enough for a family room?

Who are they by?

chairs are by Rowe Furniture (US company), but they have dealers in Canada. I've seen them in the stores, but didn't try if they are comfortable.

I still like the smaller of the two chairs that you posted, Sweetie... if they were upholstered in different, but complimentary/coordinated fabrics they'd be terrific together! I don't mind the circular chairs the MFancy posted... just not sure about comfort for a family room.

On a side note........Should I be choosing an area carpet first before fabrics?

But an area carpet will cover up your beautiful new floor!!!! Are you SURE you want a carpet?? If yes, then yeah, you should find the carpet first. The colours in the carpet will dictate the colours of other items in the room.

What style do you have in mind??

Some of you may remember that DH and the 'kids' did not want the new flooring. They fought me tooth and nail on it because they like to watch TV while laying on the floor...........I won out only because of the promise to provide suitable comfort for the TV watching............

I may be a bit biased, but I like the lines of the Charles best And he's really comfy!!
