Living Room Progress
Man we're slow!!
The living room is getting done, but at a snail's pace Say wha?
I thought I'd share a few progress pics... if you have thoughts, share!

Here's a photo of our new wall colour "Richmond Gray". It's only one coat but I'm liking how it looks with the tile. My concern with this colour, though, is that it changes with the light.

In fact... it seems a bit too lime-ish in the light of our new ceiling fixture.
But I LOVE the fixture!

Hmmmm..... I know colours in pics and on monitors are never true-to-life, but that really looks yellow to me. I thought Richmond Gray would be more gray than that.

Can you post some pics in daylight??

Nice light fixture Icon_smile

I'm looking at my fan deck in night time light, but take a look at CC-520 Florentine Plaster and see what you think.

BTW, Richmond Gray is looking really yellow to me in the light right now.

I can see the lime in picture #1. Picture #2 is yellow for sure.

The light fixture is a classic, excellent choice.

RE: Living Room Progress
Thanks Sweetie & Smoodgie...
I thought Richmond Gray would be more gray green... pout!
I'm going to get DH to take a photo of the walls during the day because I'll be at work during the best light. I'll try and post something tonight.
I'll check out Florentine Plaster, too.
I really should paint a second coat of RG before I make a decision... the colour we're critiquing above may be affected by the white-ish primer showing through slightly.

RE: Living Room Progress
No progress to report... long days at work mean I'm not into painting when I get home Sad
I did want to share that, as suggested by Smoodgie, I took a look at Florentine Plaster... It's a good colour, but perhaps a bit too gray. Anyway... DH has asked that we try living with Richmond Gray for a while. He says a year. I can do that. Besides, once I have drapes and art on the walls, I might just love the colour! Cheesy Grin
