Happy National Day of Mourning
Oh, and Happy Anniversary to me Wink

Yep, hubby and I got married 3 days after 9/11. When we woke up on the morning of our wedding day, the news was on the radio and the reporter announced that Jean Chretien had proclaimed September 14th the National Day of Mourning Rolleyes

So how are we celebrating?? Well, I painted more letters in the office, removed the wallpaper border from the guest bedroom, and we walked over to the dollar store to buy pads to put on the platform for the bed in the guest bedroom.

Hubby isn't the most romantic guy EEK

People that think they know everything seriously annoy those of us that actually do.

Happy Anniversary, Smoodgie and Mr. Smoodgie!

It sounds like your DH is much like my DH (funny considering they have the same name Cheesy Grin) = on our anniversary I'd get a smootch in the morning (which I get every day) and he'd be nice through the day (which he is every day), but that's likely about it. I MIGHT get flowers (which I rarely get). Rolleyes

But they're good men, aren't they?
Even with their lack of romantic inclination.
And if you feel as I do... you wouldn't trade your DH for anything!!

Again - Happy Anniversary!!

Happy Anniversary!
We just celebrated a milestone anniversary. I think that the majority of men do not know what to do from one anniversary to another. After awhile I start wondering myself. However, I did decide a few years back to take a more pro-active approach to anniversary celebrations. This year I organized a dinner in the old city with friends and this weekend we have another set of friends, one of whom is a chef/restaurant owner, cooking us up a dinner in our home. Of course my chum is very happy that I do this and kind of knows how fussy I am anyway so..... in some ways it is my own fault.
But I agree with you TT.... gotta lov'em anyway. Cheesy Grin

Haha.. Happy Anniversary to you smoodgie!!

Curious how these dates work out though isn't it.. My birthday, for example, is the anniversary of many wars and revolutions. I guess its to be expected with only 365[6] days to choose from. Icon_smile

The best way to get ahead is to get started.
