RE: Guest bedroom in progress
The room is painted and ready for the wallpaper
I picked up a gallon of mis-tint at Benjamin Moore for 10 bucks. It's not an exact match, but close enough I'll pick up the wallpaper supplies this afternoon, and then hubby will hopefully hang it tonight ![]() Oh, I still need to paint the baseboard -- I'll do that this afternoon. I can't wait till it's done!!!! People that think they know everything seriously annoy those of us that actually do. |

RE: Guest bedroom in progress
I'm trying!! The baseboards are painted, just need some touching up here and there. The chandelier is hung. And hubby is about to start wallpapering
![]() I found a gray bedskirt today that's the right gray -- finally!! I couldn't find one anywhere, and I looked at tons of places. So that's good to go Oh, and I need to buy a curtain rod. The panels have pockets that the rod slides into. Would you hang the panels using the pocket or using clips & rings?? And what kind of rod?? I'm thinking brushed metal with plain ball finials. Although I saw one I really liked at Lowes last week. It has a similar look to the lamp base. People that think they know everything seriously annoy those of us that actually do. |

RE: Guest bedroom in progress
WTF??? Hubby just informed me that it's my job to paint the adhesive onto the back of the wallpaper
![]() *Sigh* After the bedroom and office are done, I don't want to see a roller or paint brush again for a LONG time!!!!!!! People that think they know everything seriously annoy those of us that actually do. |

RE: Guest bedroom in progress
You always say that about paint and brushes....you are your own worst enemy....
I like drapery with the rings. a plain rod with simple finial balls is the best choice IMHO. |
