RE: Bathroom makeover
I'm thinking I'll do ANYTHING to get rid of those damn dark green marble tiles!! Not only do I not like the dark green
, but I've almost wiped out numerous times -- wet marble = SLIPPERY.Also, if we remove all these tiles and re-tile, we could have heated floors ![]() I even know what tiles I would use -- assuming HD still carries them..... they're a gray porcelain that looks like slate. I think they'd work perfectly with the gray & brown colour scheme we have going on in there. Maybe use the gray glass tiles for an accent in the shower like you suggested. But for now, the ensuite has to wait..... too much other stuff to do that needs to be done...... People that think they know everything seriously annoy those of us that actually do. |

RE: Bathroom makeover
Ahhh... I thought the tile was black. Yes, green marble has gotta go!
I really like your idea of a gray porcelain that looks like slate - we used a greenish/gray porcelain in our condo and loved it!! The great thing about the tile we used is that it had a texture to it that made it perfect in the bathroom... no concern with slipping Edin Design - Home remodeling is fun! |
