Appetizers
For sweetie and whoever else is looking for yummy, easy to make appetizers
Crab dip One can of crab meat, drained Two green onions, finely chopped One stick of celery, finely chopped Half of a slab of cream cheese, softened (I use low fat) 1/2 cup mayo (I use low fat Miracle Whip) Dash of tabasco 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard 1 tbsp. horseradish I would double the recipe to make sure there's enough. And have extra ingredients on hand in case you need to make more Chunky Guacamole You can adjust the ingredient to your taste -- add more jalapeno if you like it hotter, don't put in the cilantro if you don't like it, add an extra avocado.... 3 medium Haas avocados 2 tablespoons onion 1 clove garlic 1 small jalapeno pepper 1/4 cup cilantro 1/2 teaspoon cumin 2 tablespoons lime juice Dash of salt Combine all ingredients except avocados in a bowl. Add one avocado and mash. Dice the two other avocados and add. Combine them into the guacamole, but don't mash them. Dip chips and enjoy People that think they know everything seriously annoy those of us that actually do. |
