... or perhaps not so Furry?!
Here are a couple photos of my beautiful Scotty:

Poor, poor Scotty... his back side (from the hips back) was completely full of dread-locks... clumps of hair/fur with bits of who knew what in them (little sticks and leaves... and, yes, probably even some residual poop!). Looking at him you wouldn't know what was under the surface of his hair... but petting him... lumpy! And they were starting to get tight and hurt him a little.

So... we took him to the vet where he was sedated and shaved in what they call a Lion cut!!!

Poor, poor Scotty!!!

He looks so small!!
He looks so funny! LOL!

A good thing... he LOVES getting pets. I figure he must be able to feel pets a whole lot better without all that hair! Cheesy Grin

Another good thing... as his hair grows back, we'll be able to at least attempt to keep him brushed, hopefully keeping future dread-locks at bay.

Home remodeling is fun... when you don't have to rely on contractors!! Say wha?

Poor Scotty!!!!! His head looks so wrong for his body!!!!

How long will it take for his fur to grow back??

His head looks HUGE... and his body looks too small to hold it! OMG

And the little tufts of fur... really silly!! He has tufts up to his knees and, of course, the stupid tuft at the end of his once beautiful tail. OMG

The vet didn't tell me how long it would take for his fur to grow back... hopefully he'll be fully fluffy by next fall so that he can keep warm in the cooler weather! I suspect that'll be the case.
